General Informationview details
The Resolution is a modified rogaine race which includes the disciplines of running/trekking, paddling and off-road biking. This race is sure to please adventure racing lovers everywhere as the course is designed by adventure racing veteran Ron Eaglin.
LOCATION/DIRECTIONS: Little Big Econ State Forest is located in Seminole County, 3.3 miles east of the town of Oviedo on County Road 426. It is accessed from 417 (Central FL Greeneway-toll road).
From 417, Take the RED BUG LAKE RD EAST exit, EXIT 41, toward OVIEDO. Merge onto RED BUG LAKE RD. RED BUG LAKE RD becomes W MITCHELL HAMMOCK RD. Turn LEFT onto LOCKWOOD RD. Turn RIGHT onto CR-419 S/CHULUOTA RD. Turn LEFT onto SNOW HILL RD. The entrance to the Econ Forest is located at 1350 Snow Hill Rd Geneva, FL 32732
PARKING/START LOCATION is at 1350 Snow Hill Rd Geneva, FL 32732. The entrance is a 1/2 mile north of the Econlockhatchee River on Snow Hill Road, on the west side. Enter at trail head and follow pangea signage on the service road, past the park office to the parking location.
Sport raceview details
Details:
Get your year on the right track by racing in the 3-Hour Sport race. If you are new to Adventure Racing, this is the perfect race for you to test the waters! Teams will be trail running, biking and paddling in river channels. The course is designed to be fun and provide teams a chance to see unique areas.
We recommend checking out our free "AR 101" training session the morning of the race, which covers the basics of using a compass, reading a map, and how to run the race.

PROVIDED EQUIPMENT: Maps will be on water resistant paper. Canoes, paddles and life vest will be provided. No GPS allowed. Teams wishing to provide there own canoes or kayaks please contact info@pangeaadventureracing.com.
Mandatory:
Per Person: off-road bike, bike helmet, whistle, hydration and food to last event.
Per Team: compass, knife, first aid kit, cell phone.
Recommended: dry bag to keep cell phone dry.
